
About the exhibition
The exhibition focuses on the artist's so-called " miserabiliste " period from the 1940s to the end of his life. It includes twenty pieces including seven sculptures and two important oils including “ La tête Noire ”, Portrait of Diego which was presented at the Venice Biennale in 1962. The sculpture “ Buste de Diego, New York II”, which is one of Alberto’s last sculptures, features prominently in the exhibition.
