Biography

I undertook to draw a portrait of the medina from numerous faces captured in monuments, trees and objects of everyday life (...) images revealing spirits nestled in the depths of apparently inert realities."

"I have continued to enrich my Imaginary Museum with thousands of faces photographed during my travels across the continents. And over the years, I have gradually composed an Imaginary Anthropology, as written by Edgar Morin, or a reinterpretation of the world according to Tahar Ben Jelloun, contributing to deciphering, as other authors have been willing to do, the meaning of this stubborn quest, revealed during exhibitions in France and abroad. In 2009, in Meknes, at the invitation of the French Institute, I undertook to draw a portrait of the medina from numerous faces captured in monuments, trees and objects of everyday life.

In the public space, at the gates of the medina, 300 large-format photographs of Origènes were exhibited: images revealing minds nestled in the depths of seemingly inert realities. Their reunion composed a multiple, changing portrait, rich in its differences. Some of these photographs are presented by Patrice Trigano at the crossroads of Tahar Ben Jelloun's paintings."
